The deadline to submit edits to the program (title, abstract, speakers) is November 1.

 

Registration

Registration is now open for the 2022 Annual Meeting.  

Cancellation Policy:  Registration fees will be fully refunded if you cancel before December 1, 2021.  Cancellations after December 1, 2021 will not be refunded.  Registration refunds must be requested in writing to [email protected].

August 15:  Paper to be uploaded for JSCE consideration

To reserve your room online click here or call 800-445-8667 and reference the 'SCE Annual Meeting'.  The Society of Christian Ethics has secured discounted rates per night, plus applicable taxes for Annual Meeting attendees.  Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.  The special rate will be offered until Wednesday, December 22 at midnight pacific time or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.  
Only registered attendees of the 2022 Annual Meeting (SCE, SJE, SSME) can book within the meeting’s room block.  The Society of Christian Ethics will do an audit with the hotel to ensure only registered members have booked hotel rooms.  Those that have not registered for the Annual Meeting will be removed from the block, forfeiting the discounted rate.
Parking:  Discounted self parking is available for attendees of the Annual Meeting at $10/night.

The exhibit tables are 8' linen-less tables with a polished aluminum top with brown scuba skirts.  Exhibit tables will have two (2) chairs.  All other equipment must be provided by the exhibitor.  The Hotel does not permit anything to be nailed, posted or otherwise attached to its walls. The exhibitor is responsible for providing the necessary insurance to cover their own property.  There will not be a security officer present.  Requests for power, internet, audio visual, etc. must be arranged through the hotel audio visual team prior to the meeting.  These services are at an additional cost.

Shipping & Receiving Information

The Society of Christian Ethics is not responsible for any cost incurred for shipping and handling.  Packages can be delivered to the Hotel only three (3) days prior to the Annual Meeting.  Please complete the CC Auth form and submit to Deborah Sanders at [email protected] by December 15.  Hilton Shipping & Receiving Information

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, and staff must abide by the SCE Standards of Professional Conduct.

 

Health & Safety

All participants (attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, staff, etc.) must submit proof of vaccination and a recent PCR or Antigen test, within 72 hours of the conference start.  Prior to your arrival we will be posting on the SCE website Costa Mesa locations for securing such COVID testing. Additionally, masks will be required throughout the meeting and we will follow all other CDC guidelines.  Finally, on December 15, we will send out another update with greater specificity on the steps we will be taking at the conference to minimize risk. 

COVID-19 Update

The Society of Christian Ethics continues to closely monitor the coronavirus outbreak as the health and safety of our members and attendees is our highest priority.  We are tracking all travel restrictions and will follow the advice of the World Health OrganizationU.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the California Department of Public Health.
