Saint Mary's College announces a one-year full-time position (possibility of renewal) in Ethics at the ABD or assistant professor level in the Department of Religious Studies, beginning in August, 2012. Candidates should have expertise in the area of religious and theological ethics, as well as literacy in a broad range of issues in religious studies. Ability to teach comparative ethics and interreligious dialogue is desirable. Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in religious studies, a second general education course in Catholic social thought, and an upper-level seminar in theological ethics. Demonstrated abilities in excellent undergraduate teaching are required. The position involves a 4/3 course load (2 preparations per semester).
