Interfaith CarePartners® seeks nominations and applications for the position of Senior Vice President.  Interfaith CarePartners, located in Houston, Texas, is a national leader in volunteer caregiving. Its founders created the Care Team® concept and model of congregation-based volunteer caregiving. Interfaith CarePartners promotes, sponsors, and conducts interfaith and interdisciplinary programs of service, education, research, and scholarship. Service activities include training and supervising congregation-based laypeople who provide a ministry of presence and practical assistance with frail adults, including persons with dementia, and children. 

Candidates should have professional training for ministry and be excited about the practice and ethics of pastoral care within congregations and scholarly reflection on same. Master of Divinity or equivalent degree is required and scholarly training at the Ph.D. or equivalent level is preferred.

The successful candidate should have skills for service program administration, teaching, professional writing, and supportive of fund-raising and proposals to private donors. The candidate should be intellectually curious and committed to interdisciplinary and interfaith activities, have a positive attitude, and possess entrepreneurial skills for program growth. The successful candidate will be eligible for consideration to fill the position of president when it becomes available. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with the candidate’s credentials.
