Policy for Website Use

The secured portion of www.scethics.org is a service provided by The Society of Christian Ethics to facilitate communication among individual members of the society. Certain uses are inconsistent with this purpose, including, but not limited to:

activities that are illegal or fraudulent;
use by one or more members that implies endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by The Society of Christian Ethics or any individual officer of the Society;
use that can be mistaken for official communications of The Society of Christian Ethics or its officers;
mass mailings or spamming;
advertising or other form of commercial solicitation;
activities that violate other members' privacy, such as granting access to or distributing information obtained from the secured portion of the website to non-members;
hate speech, harassment, or other action in contravention of the Grievance Procedure.

The Society of Christian Ethics will deny further access to the secure portion of its website to those who engage in these or similar practices.
