Annual Meeting 2010

President Daniel Finn presided for the 51st annual meeting, held jointly with the Society of Jewish Ethics and the Society for the Study of Muslim Ethics, which 454 people attended.

Plenary sessions included “Ethics Brewed in an African Pot” by Agbonkhianmeghe Orobator SJ and “A Typology of Christian Ethics: A Brief Conversation between Chinese and American Christians” by Jianguo Wang. These were the first speakers of the Global Scholars Program.

Officers elected at the business meeting included Stanley Hauerwas (Vice President), Gloria Albrecht, David Gushee, and M. Therese Lysaught (Board).

Search for the next Executive Director and details of the Lifetime Achievement Award were announced.
